A WELCOME TABLE

ARTIST OPEN CALL

This year’s Open Call invites artists, practitioners and photographers to be part of A Welcome Table - a special live event with artist Becky Warnock during Peckham 24 2025.

A Welcome Table is an event, engagement programme and art work simultaneously. It sits at the heart of this year’s curatorial programme and will host artists, community groups and public audiences as part of the theme COME TOGETHER.  Becky Warnock will host participatory events throughout the duration of the festival which will culminate in a final round-table meal on the last day of Peckham 24 2025.  The event draws on the structure of a Long Table gathering in which the audiences participate in the conversations, expanding on themes including peacebuilding and reconciliation, community, food and culture.

Rather than simply observing, we are seeking artists, practitioners and photographers who will offer a ‘provocation’ based on key themes from their work. This will then open up wider conversation, facilitated by Becky, to engage everyone present at the event.  Artists featured will also submit a single image to be used as part of a collective artwork.

AS A SELECTED OPEN CALL ARTIST YOU WILL:

  • Participate in A Welcome Table with Becky Warnock at the heart of the 2025 festival
